Aurélia Chevalier holds a PhD in conservation-restoration and specializes in Old Masters, modern, and contemporary works of art. Based in Geneva, she works with collectors, museums, foundations, and art market professionals in Switzerland and internationally, both in her studio and on-site.
She is a Member of the SKR/SCR (Schweizerischer Verband für Konservierung / Swiss Association for Conservation and Restoration).
Services
Aurélia Chevalier is a fine art conservator-restorer, providing art conservation and restoration services for institutions, art market professionals and private collectors.
Her practice includes the restoration of Old Master, modern and contemporary paintings, preventive conservation, condition assessments and Condition Reports, as well as TEKSCOR – Technical Scientific Condition Reports, developed in collaboration with specialized laboratories.
TEKSCOR
Technical Scientific Condition Report
TEKSCOR is a technical and scientific reporting service dedicated to analyzing the physical condition of works of art. It is based on in-depth documentation of the artwork and can incorporate observations under a microscope, under UV or infrared lighting, as well as non-invasive analyses.
Developed in collaboration with the Geneva Fine Art Analysis laboratory, TEKSCOR is aimed in particular at collectors, institutions, insurers, transporters, galleries, auction houses and art experts.
